Author Guidelines

Manuscripts considered by PSJ must be unpublished, not under review elsewhere, and aligned with the journal scope.

The author is responsible for scientific accuracy, proper citation practice, and adherence to ethical requirements.

All submissions must follow current journal requirements for structure, bibliography, abstracts, and keywords.

PSJ publishes research in philology, literary studies, Turkology, translation studies, and language-and-literature pedagogy.

Authors are encouraged to align manuscript topics with the journal profile and justify scientific novelty and practical relevance before submission.

Article submission is conducted through OJS after author registration and profile completion with current contact details.

Before upload, the author verifies compliance with journal requirements, reference formatting, and metadata completeness.

After submission, the author receives manuscript status notifications via the dashboard and email.

Metadata must include the article title, author details, abstract, and keywords in the manuscript language and in English.

Author names should be provided in a consistent format with official affiliation, ORCID (if available), and a valid correspondence email.

The abstract should state the study objective, methods, results, and conclusions, while keywords support accurate indexing.

Funding, project, or grant information should be entered in the designated metadata field when applicable.

The editorial office may request metadata clarification or correction before initiating peer review.

The recommended article length is 3,000 to 7,000 words, including the main text, citations, and references.

Substantial deviation from the length range is allowed only with a justified scholarly rationale and editorial approval.

Only original manuscripts without improper borrowing or duplication of previously published results are accepted.

The recommended minimum originality level is 80% according to screening results; the final decision rests with the editorial board.

If inappropriate borrowing is detected, the editorial office may reject the manuscript or request major revision followed by re-screening.

Co-authorship must include only individuals who made substantial contributions to study design, execution, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.

The corresponding author confirms that all co-authors approve the final manuscript version and its submission to the journal.

Changes in authorship after submission are allowed only with written justification and documented consent from all contributors.

Authors must disclose potential financial, professional, or personal circumstances that may influence interpretation of results.

If no conflict exists, the manuscript must include an explicit statement declaring the absence of conflicts.

Undisclosed conflicts may lead to manuscript rejection, publication of a correction, or article retraction.

All manuscripts undergo mandatory double-blind peer review by independent experts in the relevant subject area.

Peer review evaluates scientific novelty, methodological rigor, validity of conclusions, and alignment with journal scope.

The editorial decision is based on reviewer reports, revision quality, and the manuscript's compliance with PSJ editorial policy.

When reviewer comments are issued, the author submits a revised manuscript and a point-by-point response.

Revision deadlines are set by the editorial office; authors may request an extension with justified reasons.

Manuscripts resubmitted without addressing key comments may be rejected or sent for additional revision before re-evaluation.

The publication fee policy is defined by the publisher and published in its current version on the official journal website.

Where fees apply, authors are informed about amount, payment procedure, and deadlines after acceptance.

Editorial decisions are independent of payment status and based solely on scholarly and ethical criteria.
